Sometimes I like to get a bit creative with my backgrounds... there are times when I like the background so much, I lament the fact that the subject is there, blocking it! In this case, I was doing a naughty pic of Pete and Maleficent from Kingdom Hearts and had the idea of having them on one of the stained glass mosaics that Sora (and later, Roxas) encounters, with Kingdom Hearts (the moon, not the game) in the background. Now, I must give credit where it is due... I used three different googled images for this one, but they are heavily photoshopped, so I doubt anyone will mind.

First, I took one of those large Kingdom Hearts wallpapers ( [link] ), used the Stained Glass filter on it, then stretched, skewed, and perspective'd it until it looked like it does here, added a shadowy ridge to the edge of it, and blurred the edging with some blue fog. Next, I took an image of the full moon, cut it into a heart shape, changed the color a bit, then added some filters to make it look SIMPLE AND CLEAN (heh heh), then added blur and glow. Finally, I added the clouds... they were originally daytime clouds, so I corrected them to look like nighttime clouds and added the blue highlights to it and cut and altered opacity to it until I was satisfied.

So there you have it... Kingdom hearts is.... LIGHT!
